Virtual Program: Food Explorers Baking Class for Kids!

Join Katie Shepherd, Registered Dietitian from Food Explorers to make homemade Chocolate Dipped Peanut Butter Cookies! Allergic to peanut butter? Not to worry, this recipe can also use Almond Butter or Sunbutter!

Exploring food encourages children to learn through sensory experiences, hands-on activities and working together to create delicious results.

Food Explorers provides children with the knowledge to make healthy choices for themselves. By combining nutrition education with cooking and hands-on food exploration, you’ll have a Food Explorer in no time!

You’ll need the following ingredients: Peanut butter (or alternative), 1 egg, white sugar, cinnamon and chocolate chips. No special equipment required.”

This is an online program. Registration is required to attend this program. You will receive a Zoom invitation the morning of the program. Families with children ages 7 and up.
