B.F. Clyde’s Cider Mill – for fresh apple cider donuts, cider making demonstrations and a cute setting (the oldest steam operated cider mill in the USA).
The Garlic Festival at Olde Mistick Village (a cute shopping center near the Aquarium)
Take a Historic Harbor Tour
Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium are fun and the aquarium gives you free second day admission, so you should take advantage of that.
Here are some of our favorite restaurants: Pizzetta (Pizza/Salads and outdoor seating), Sift (crazy-amazing bakery), Engine Room (go there), and Harbour House (happy hour?), Mango’s Pizza (at Olde Mistick Village), M Bar (new breakfast/coffee/bar/and food spot), Ford’s Lobster (in beautiful nearby Noank)
Watch the Bascule Bridge go up/down and walk around historic downtown Mystic and Captain’s Row (Gravel Street).
Take a selfie in front of Mystic Pizza 😉
Explore Coogan Farm, Barn Island, Haley Farm, Bluff Point for cool views and nice trails.
Grab an ice cream cone from one of the fabulous sweet shops and sit along the Mystic River. Magical.

If you’re looking for delicious food and a great bar, head to Friar Tucks Tavern on 15 Water St. They also have live music on Thurs, Fri and Sat night!!

You picked a good weekend…the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival is Aug 12 – 13, 2017. Downtown will be buzzing!
A new place for everyone to visit come mid June 2017 is Friar Tucks’ the main person that got Pizzetta up and running is now opening his own establishment. Great food! Great music! Great atmosphere! Please come check it out! Follow Friar Tucks on Instagram and Facebook to find out more details!!

Yes, actually there will be two concerts at Mystic River Park, one Monday 7/10/17 and one Tuesday 7/11/17. Here are the details – Summer Concerts in the Park
What would be a great place for music/dancing?
For a girls weekend last hurrah before getting married for Saturday September 15th 2018.
There honestly isn’t really a popular dance spot in Mystic, but our suggestion for best music/dancing atmosphere would be Chapter One downtown. They have a good late-night scene with DJs regularly.
