Coogan Farm

Coogan Farm is a plot of land tucked between route 27 to the west, McQuade’s to the north, and the Denison properties to the east. It was saved by DPNC and the Trust for Public Land in 2013 in an effort to protect natural and historical resources with the goals of conserving, education, sustainable tourism, public health, and community spirit.

Coogan Farm has a welcome center, a nature and arts barn, a giving garden (read why you should volunteer), a red cedar forest & quarry, gallup orchard and much more.

From the Blog – Sneak Peek of Coogan Farm

The main entrance is located on Route 27 next to the preschool. Other places of access are on Pleasant Street at the powerlines and at the end of Maritime Drive.
