Giving Garden Harvest

Get your farming fix at the Craig Floyd Giving Garden, no experience necessary! Every Tuesday, we harvest vegetables and herbs to be donated to the food-insecure of New London County, and we can’t do it without our volunteers! Giving Garden harvests are always joyful and spirited, not to mention rewarding:

– Learn about earth-friendly gardening
– Help grow food for your community
– Work alongside and forge new friendships with like-minded volunteers

Can’t make it on Tuesdays? Volunteer shifts are open 7 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday and on Saturday. Stop by, bring your friends, and make it a party! We can always use more help growing delicious, nutritious food for our neighbors.

All produce is donated to the Gemma E. Moran United Way/ Labor Food Center, which distributes to the food-insecure of New London County.
