“Mystic”: A Murder-Mystery Series

Mystic, a who-done-it murder mystery video series, is based around the investigation of a small-town murder set in Mystic, Connecticut. A popular woman in town, whose Irish family goes back generations in Mystic, is brutally murdered in a boat fire. The story features unusual characters, all connected in some way, and leaves the viewer asking who killed Bridgett Ashling and why?

The pilot episode (21 pages of script) was produced in a span of just 3 days in November and filmed at several local spots including St. Mark’s, Mystic Train Station, Stonington Police Station, and Angie’s (decorated as a coffee shop for the shoot).

Mystic will be presented at film festivals in Spring 2017 with the goal of creating an online series (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.). Filming for future episodes would take place in Mystic during the off-seasons.
