Charity Chowder Cookoff and Cabin Fever Festival

This winter-time festival (every February) is a huge hit and one to brave the weather for! The main event is the Charity Chowder Cookoff – over 15 local restaurants from Connecticut and Rhode Island will serve up their brew of chowder. Tastes are 1 ticket each. Tickets can be bought at several locations throughout the village. All proceeds support Always Home, a non-profit service agency dedicated to preventing family homelessness throughout Eastern CT. Each restaurant will have a sponsoring shop in Olde Mistick Village where space will be set aside to serve chowder.
