The Denison Homestead Museum

The Denison Homestead is 160 acre privately owned property 5 minutes from downtown Mystic. This 300 year old family farm has been preserved through the generations with a mission to connect the community to the history, land and environment of the property. The homestead is home to the 1717 House Museum, the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center and a farmers’ market.

The 1717 House Museum, also known as Pequotsepos Manor, is on the National Register of Historical Places. It’s open year-round, Monday thru Friday 10-4pm, June thru October Saturday Hours 12-4pm. Tours are available year round by appointment.
