CT ROCKS CT STATE PARKS GEOLOGY PROGRAM!

The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton will host Connecticut Rocks Geology Program, presented by CT State Parks, on Tuesday, June 30 at 1:00 PM. This program, for kids in grades 1-5, uses maps and local rock samples to learn how the land around them formed. Kids will also get a glimpse of Connecticut’s deep history that includes dinosaurs! The Ct State Parks Geology program is part of our 2026 Summer Reading program Unearth a Story! celebrating all things dinosaurs. Pick up a reading log and play our Jurassic board game this summer and earn free books and chances for great prizes.

Library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
