Housing intersects with every facet of human life. Where you live determines where you work, where you attend school, and your closeness to important resources such as healthcare and food. This is why housing advocacy is so crucial and necessary! Please join us for an advocacy workshop where you will be able to learn about some of the major issues and barriers many face with housing, and identify ways you can help! The Connecticut Fair Housing Center’s Education and Outreach Coordinator, Rashida Rattray, will walk us through a brief history of the fight for housing equity and provide resources on how you can better support agencies working toward this goal. Anyone can be an advocate, and we’re excited to show you how!
