Please join Always Home for a super-hero inspired evening at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa on Friday, May 10th, 2019 from 6pm – 10pm. Always Home’s BE A HERO gala features Gotham City inspired games, Kryptonite cocktails at the open bar, 3-course dinner, super-powered live and silent auctions, and dancing to Power Posse Productions. This year, Always Home honors the heroic team at Miranda Creative who volunteer their time and talent to further Always Home’s mission.
Always Home (formerly Mystic Area Shelter & Hospitality) was formed in 1998 to address the needs of Southeastern Connecticut’s homeless and at-risk families. Its mission is Preventing Family Homelessness. As the region’s leading service provider focused exclusively on serving families with minor children, Always Home offers individualized case management support as well as access to the critical emergency services families need to establish housing stability. This past fiscal year, Always Home served 231 families in housing crisis including 729 family members, 435 of whom were children under the age of 18.
