Best Sports Bar in Mystic?

Looking for a sports bar in Mystic? There isn’t one! BUT there are a few spots, although not advertised as “sports bars”, more than good enough to satisfy when you gotta watch that game.

Friar Tuck’s – English bar with large TVs. They have specials on futbol Sundays when die-hard Premier League fans have pints with breakfast. But of course Friar Tuck’s plays all sports and host things like a fantasy football league and Super Bowl squares. Food + Drink: Excellent English inspired menu…fish n chips is a hit and Scotch Eggs are a can’t miss. Their nice draft beer menu is regularly changing.

Jealous Monk – They describe themselves as a “European beer hall, with American sports bar, and social club”. It’s a great bar with the type of food you’d expect to eat while catching the game: burgers, pretzels, house-made sausages etc. Large TVs are mounted alongside their digital tap screens, inside and out! And the beer selection (32 beers on tap) gives you the variety you need for those long games. There’s cornhole for halftime.

The IRONS – Super place to catch a game with food and drink specials throughout football season.

Margaritas – A large Mexican restaurant where the top floor has a large bar and TVs scattered around the room. TVs aren’t huge but if you’re craving a burrito to go with your game, this is the place.

Angies – A local-heavy pizza joint, but they have a separate bar. TVs are small, but it’s a divy bar with a fun atmosphere. Food + Drink: Pizza is good and drinks are cheap.

Harp & Hound – An authentic English bar where the TVs are small, but they’ll play the game.
