UNIVERSAL PACKAGE STORE IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Spencer & Lynn has taken its place.

Located on the Groton side of Downtown Mystic in the Main Block building (big brick building next to the drawbridge), Universal Package carries a fine selection of wine, beer, and spirits.

Universal Package Store, whose Noank shop has been locally loved for over 70 years, focuses on unusual wines of all price ranges, specialty beers, and an extensive whiskey selection (stocked at the back of the store). They do their best to please all customers and encourage clientele feedback which keeps their business flowing.

In need of a last minute, special delivery? No worries…The folks at Universal Package Store will bring booze right to your door! An order of $25 or more qualifies for free delivery (call for delivery zone).  Something to look out for in the future, UPS has plans underway for dockside deliveries by boat to local marinas. How’s that for service?!

For those concerned about finding a convenient parking spot to get in and out quickly, here’s a crucial tip. Park in the large lot behind the store (enter on Water Street at the Mystic Museum of Art). It’s metered, but the first 1/2 hour is free.
