Writer’s Open Mic at Bank Square Books

Writers of ALL genres (including musicians, story tellers and artists) ages 13+ are invited to read, sing or speak about their PG-rated work for 3 minutes. Several authors will present stories about the Mystic area and those who have RSVPed include:
Matthew Goldman, author of “Landmarks You Must Visit In Southeast Connecticut”
Lisa Saunders, author of the “Mystic Seafarer’s Trail”
Tom Santos, author of “Mystic in the 1950s: Growing Up in a Small Village”
Martin Shapiro, author of “2039”
Sandi Shelton, author of several books and host of writing workshops, “Words at Play”
Joanne Z. Moore, PT, DHSc, author of soon-to-be released, “Common Sense: Strategies for Living a Joyful and Meaningful Life after Loss.”
Sherri Daley, contributor/co-editor of soon-to-be released, “What We Talk About … when we’re over 60”
The event will be limited to 50 attendees.
Fee: $5 for presenters, $2 for audience (includes light refreshments)
