Tie the knot at Olde Mistick Village this Valentines Day!

Whether you’re looking to tie the knot, or just spend a night out with your beloved, Olde Mistick Village is the perfect place to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Tyler Wiley, who is also a non-denominational minister, will once again perform free wedding ceremonies for couples on Valentine’s Day, Monday, Feb. 14 at the Meeting House in Olde Mistick Village. She has been performing this special service for almost two decades.Ceremonies will be performed from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Weddings are first come first served. No registration is required. Couples wanting to renew their vows are also welcome. Nothing is necessary for a vow renewal. Commitment ceremonies are also available, for those who want to simply show up and have fun.

All attending will be required to wear a mask before and after the ceremonies.

Couples are required to present an official wedding license from the Town of Stonington. Licenses may be obtained at the Stonington Town Hall, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4 p.m. Stonington Town Hall can be reached at (860) 535-5060 and is located at 152 Elm St., Stonington.

Available in walking distance from the Meeting House are Go Fish Restaurant, Pink Basil, Steak Loft, Bleu Squid Breakfast & Bakery Cafe, Mango’s Wood-Fired Pizza Co., and Jealous Monk. Across the street are Irons, Peking Tokyo, and Rio Salado as well. They have all made it through COVID shutdowns and are fun places to enjoy a celebration.
