The Uptown Gallery Grand Opening Party

The Finer Line Gallery, a Downtown Mystic fixture for 35 years, has expanded into a second-floor space and will feature only original paintings and sculptures from the region’s finest artists. “The Uptown Gallery at Finer Line” will hold a public-welcome ribbon cutting celebration on Saturday, May 11, from 4 to 8 pm. Wine and light hors d’oeuvres will be served with special one-night only pricing on selected original works.

Notable landscape and seascape painters of the region, including Jonathan McPhillips, David Bareford, Larry Johnston, Jane McGraw-Teubner, David Lussier, and Anthony Davis are exhibiting at The Uptown Gallery for the first time. They join Del-Bourree Bach, Christopher Zhang, Sarah Lucas, Jackie Jones, Dan Truth, Tim Mockler, Trish Savides, Heather Lusk and other celebrated artists showing recent works.

Next door to the new gallery space is the studio and gallery of acclaimed marine artist Russ Kramer, who will be participating in the open-house celebration with The Uptown Gallery.
