Take Your Child to the Library Day @ Bill Memorial Library
TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THE LIBRARY DAY!!
The Bill Memorial Library invites you to visit the library on Take Your Child to the Library Day, Saturday, February 3, 2024 to celebrate everyone’s favorite groovy feline, Pete the Cat. Children and their families can stop by during regular hours for activity sheets, stickers and bookmarks, a Pete the Cat take home craft, and a photo next to Pete! The library will be giving away a jar full of chocolate to the lucky winner who comes closest to guessing the correct number of pieces in the candy jar. Get in on the fun and be sure to check out a Pete the Cat book with your library card! For more information call the library at 860-445-0392.
Take Your Child to the Library Day is a grass-roots event first suggested by Nadine Lipman, Children’s Librarian at the Waterford Public Library, with over 100 libraries in the state and beyond currently participating. The Connecticut State Library is co-sponsoring this event along with the Connecticut Library Consortium and the Connecticut Library Association.
Library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
