Stonington Town Docks Open House: Meet your Local Fishing Community

As part of the Blessing of the Fleet weekend, the Stonington Fishermen are sponsoring an open house from 12 to 4 P.M. on July 28, 2018 at the Town dock. This is your chance to meet those who work the ocean waters to provide you, as well as your local retailers and restaurants, with fresh, sustainably caught, and nutritious seafood.

Find out what kinds of seafood are for sale locally this time of year and see how fish are processed and prepared for your local market.

Go aboard a working fishing vessel and see how it operates and what is involved in bringing the catch home.

Meet your local fishermen, ask them questions, and hear about issues that concern them.
