Event Series Event Series: Roode Memorial Concert Series

Roode Memorial Concert Series

07/15/2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Join us this summer for the Mystic & Noank Library’s annual Roode Memorial Concert Series. It’s a series of free outdoor concerts on the grounds of the Mystic & Noank Library. These concerts celebrate the lives of Mystic & Noank Library patrons Agnes and Carl Roode. The Roodes were longtime Mystic residents who loved music and the Library. Their family continues the tradition of honoring their legacy with a wonderful lineup of talented musicians in 2021. This summer’s series features three local musicians from different genres and musical stylings. Social distance guidelines will be in place for everyone’s safety. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will take place indoors in the Spicer Reading Room. Indoor attendance will be limited and the library will welcome the first 25 guests to arrive. No registration is necessary.

In 2019, Thor released an EP of original music, and has another full length record to be released later this year. Find out more on his website: https://www.thorjensenmusic.com/
