Outdoor Yoga Class

FreeWe invite you to join us and Chelsea from Bluebird Yoga for an all levels (beginner friendly) yoga practice on the Library grounds at 5:30pm! Wake up your body with a gentle stretch followed by flowing movement and strengthening. We will be meeting on the side lawn nearest to the Union Baptist Church parking lot.
Please bring your own equipment. Chelsea recommends:
A yoga mat and yoga props (you will not specifically need any props unless they are part of your usual practice)
A towel or blanket to place under your mat and one for over your body during savasana
A water bottle
Sunscreen and bug spray
A mask for walking to and from your mat
Chelsea, aka Bluebird Yoga, is a local from Stonington. Yoga, for Chelsea, is about fostering healing through kindess. The goal in her classes is to hold the space for her fellow yogis to cultivate kindness on and off the mat. She understands the importance of safe movement and leads students through a practice that builds from gentler meditations through more difficult variations as they increase in strength and flexibility. Participants are required to wear a mask that covers the mouth and nose upon entry; masks may be removed once on the mat. Participants will be spaced 6 feet apart at all times.
Registration is required to attend this program. Only 15 people can attend each class.
