Mystic Pirate Invasion 2016

Pirates are taking over downtown Mystic again!
Friday Sept. 30
Stonington Human Services will present a night time viewing of “Hook” in the Mystic River Park at 6:30pm.
Saturday Oct. 1
Our favorite pirates, The Freemen of the Sea, will wander through our downtown watering holes and eateries. They will be meeting with, and entertaining, the common folk in Mystic who will be enjoying pirate themed drink and food specials throughout town.
Sunday Oct. 2
Invasion day! There will be arts and crafts, face painting & balloon creations for the wee ones, as well as some piratey themed dancing in the Mystic River Park for young and old. This is the day that the pirates invade our fair port,when they make landfall  from the deck of the Schooner Argia. The kids will grab a map to seek their treasures (through participating businesses). Costume contest to be held after the militia come and save the day!
