● WHERE: Groton Thrive+ Center @ 102 Newtown Road, Groton, CT 06340
● WHAT: Contra dancing dates back to the 17th century with roots in England, Scotland, and France. According to those who practice it today, it remains alive and well as a way to socialize, exercise, and have fun.
● WHY: To have a wicked good time dancing to live music, meet and make friends and eat delicious homemade pie slices!
