Bank Square Books presents a launch party for local author Dan Pearson’s monthly short story series, which consists of a single short story or novella that will be published each month for a year, all featuring various voices and narratives set in or inspired by a fictional community based on Mystic, Stonington, and Noank.

This event is free and open to the public, and wine and refreshments will be served.

Dan’s first story is “A Couple Without Children for the Weekend at the Inn.”

Dan Pearson is a native of Mystic and resident of Stonington. He graduated from Bowdoin College and the University of St. Andrews. His music and arts writing has appeared in numerous publications, including Nylon, Good, and Stop Smiling.
