Kombucha 101

Have you ever wondered if you could make a good kombucha at home instead of buying those expensive brands? If you can brew a cup of tea, you can ferment your own kombucha. We’ll discuss kombucha’s history and health benefits, demonstrate the process and answer questions. Participants will leave with a recipe, jar and a kombucha starter– including a SCOBY (the culture used to ferment the tea) and starter liquid. This program is suited for adults. Meets at Coogan Farm.
