Session 2 (July 27-August 20): Our Food Tells a Story
$160 per session / Rising 6th graders – 8th grade

Calling all kids interested in food, farming, and cooking! Participants will meet three times per week for live cooking classes and activities to develop their culinary skills and deepen their understanding of the food system. Special guests from different sectors of the food industry, from farmers and chefs to bakers and pickle-makers will join us for tips and ideas for our young chefs! Kids will be challenged to complete independent activities, nature exploration, and cooking projects. Topics will include seasonality, sustainability, food access, and the joy of cooking. Each session will culminate in a virtual dinner party.

Virtual classes meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:30 – 11:30am.
