This is a 3 part class and will be held on:

Monday, March 9 from 6:30-7:30PM
and then, Wednesdays March 18 and 25 from 6:00-8:00PM.

Aren’t sure where to start with your next screen printing project? Wondering how to take your screen printing skills to the next level? This intermediate class time is for those who want to work on a specific project and try new techniques. Your project could include new skills such as: – make a batch of various merchandise – produce an edition of prints/ posters – to learn registration for multi-color print – print larger than 8.5×11- – print on unorthodox materials – experiment with design and stencil making. The benefit of this structured studio time is to round out your screen printing know-how with hands-on guidance from your teacher, as well as gain experience as you learn from fellow student’s successes …and their trials! The first 1-hour session is to begin planning for success. Please come ready to discuss your project idea and bring preliminary designs/ imagery. We will troubleshoot any imagined hurdles and guide you through great decision making as you finalize your design and gather your materials. In session 2, we will burn your screens and begin printing (dress casually in non-precious clothing, ink and water will be splashing!) In session 3, we will continue printing and, as time allows, wrap up each element of the project, whether it includes heat setting, paper trimming, or autographing each print ;)!
