The whole family is stuffed, the children are ready to burn off some energy. What to do? Bring everyone to Mystic Seaport Museum for a day of family-friendly activities.

Enjoy traditional games on the Village Green, including hoops, stilts, and graces. Unleash your creativity by designing a seasonal craft. The Children’s Museum is a terrific place for the wee ones in your family to pretend they are sailors, cook some imaginary “grub,” and try their hand at a tricky puzzle. Stop by Home Port, where children can explore their artistic side at the drawing station, configured to look like a lighthouse. There is a puppet playhouse where children may perform their own shows for the audience and a selection of traditional games to play such as board games or Skittles.

In the Toy Boat Building, you will be able to build your own little ship for $5 per person.
