New Pilot Family Class Program at Spark!
In this class, you will make your own pillowcase! It only takes a yard of fabric and a few simple seams. This is a great intro to sewing class.
It is designed for one adult and one or two children – ages 7 and up. Everyone participating in the class will be making a pillowcase of their own, even the grownups!
Material to bring:
PER STUDENT: 1 yard of 44/45” wide soft cotton fabric. (For example: 1 adult 1 child =2 yards, 1 adult 2 children = 3 yards)
Optional: If you want a contrasting edge, you will need a half yard of a different fabric. These will fit a standard bed pillow; feel free to bring measurements if your pillows are a non-standard size.
– the new ‘Affordable Fabrics’ now called “Americana Fabrics” is open in Waterford on Great Neck Rd, and they have cording as well as tons of prints in the fabric you need.
