Fall Volunteer Clean-Up Day!

Grab your rake and a pair of gloves to help us tidy up the exterior grounds of our lovely library.

We are so lucky to have many faithful and hard-working volunteers take care of our beautiful and historic property. Hope to see you then!

We are planning a volunteer day for Saturday, November 7 at the MNL for garden and grounds cleanup. Because of the importance of following Covid-19 guidelines, we need to be mindful of keeping social distance and either wearing a face covering or having one available if we are in close proximity. We also need to provide our own tools.

Projects will include
Raking and blowing leaves off lawn, walkways and patios and picking up black walnuts and any fallen branches and sticks
Weeding all areas, including inside and outside “chiller”
Cleaning up beds near birdbath on Baptist Church side of property
Cleaning up leaves, vines and garbage from parking lot
Weedwacking
Vines out of trees in back lot
Cleaning up daylillies, hostas, etc before winter
Helpful tools:
Rake, weeding tools, containers to carry weeds and leaves, clippers, weedwacker
