Drawing 101 Class : Figure 4/10

Wednesday, April 10th, 6-8PM
All skill levels are welcome, whether you’re brushing up on your skills or just starting.

This class focuses on shading: This will be the product of the last three classes. We will use skills of shading, gesture, line searching, and make-making to create figure drawings. Working with a live model, we will spend our time working toward the foundations of figure drawing.

Hands-on Learning: Our focused guidance will help you sharpen your basic drawing skills. Talk and learn with other people who are interested in drawing. Together, you’ll learn new methods and techniques that will make your drawings even better.

Materials to Bring:

A Sketchbook
Your favorite drawing materials to work with: (pencil/charcoal/ etc.)

To further nurture the skills developed during the class, we encourage you to join the Open Drawing meet up on the following Wednesday, 6-8pm at Spark Makerspace. This informal gathering encourages students to practice their newly acquired skills and collaborate with fellow art enthusiasts.

This is a series of monthly sessions, each spotlighting a focused topic to cultivate a community.
