Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday & Dinosaurs at the Bill Memorial Library

CELEBRATE AMERICA’S 250TH BIRTHDAY & DINOSAURS AT THE BILL MEMORIAL LIBRARY!

The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites kids to our 250th celebration of America’s birthday and dinosaurs on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, between 1:00-3:00 PM. Join us for activities, face painting, crafts, snacks and more! No registration is necessary. Program may be postponed or modified in case of bad weather; for information call the library at 860-445-0392. Open to all ages and no registration is required; sponsored by the City of Groton.

Library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The Bill Memorial Library, a landmark on Groton Bank since 1890, is located at 240 Monument Street in the City of Groton, near the Groton Monument and historic Fort Griswold.
