Proceeds from the Bearathon 5K Road Race & 2-Mile Walk will help fund Stonington High School class activities. Twenty percent of the proceeds will also be donated to the Pawcatuck VFW in honor of Memorial Day. The Bearathon is a scenic, flat road race that starts at the Mystic YMCA and loops through Mason’s Island. This race will be professionally timed by SNERRO, http://www.snerro.com.

RACE TIME: 10:00 AM

PRE-REGISTRATION: Our Pre-Registration fee is $20. All registrants who pre-register before May 1st will receive a free Bearathon T-shirt.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Our race day registration fee is $25. Registration will open at 8:30 AM on race day and close at 9:45 AM.

AWARDS: Awards will be given to the overall top Male & Female finishers as well as the top Male & Female finisher in each age group. Great prizes will be raffled and each runner will receive 1 raffle ticket at the registration table. Many local business have donated generous gift certificates and outstanding merchandise for our raffle prizes.

REFRESHMENTS: Oranges, bananas, apples, bagels, peanut butter, water and granola bars will be provided. Water will also be handed out along the race course.
