2017 Charity Chowder Cook-Off & Cabin Fever Festival

14th Annual “Chowder Fest” at the Olde Mistick Village!
February 25th 12pm – 4pm
This winter-time festival at the Olde Mistick Village is a huge hit and one to brave the weather for! The main event is the Charity Chowder Cookoff – over 20 local restaurants from Connecticut and Rhode Island will serve up their brew of chowder. Each taste (3oz. cups) is purchased with 1 tickert ($1 a piece or 12 for $10 – sold at various locations throughout the village).
All proceeds support the Emergency Food Pantry at the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center.
Voting will be done by all participants for (1) Most Creative Chowder; (2) Heartiest Chowder; (3) Best Use of Regional Ingredients; (4) Best Overall Flavor.
