13th Annual Cabin Fever Festival & Charity Chowder Cookoff at the Olde Mistick Village!
This winter-time festival at the Olde Mistick Village is a huge hit and one to brave the weather for! The main event is the Charity Chowder Cookoff – over 20 local restaurants from Connecticut and Rhode Island will serve up their brew of chowder. Tastes will be sold for $1 apiece; 7 tastes for $5; or 15 tastes for $10. All proceeds support the Emergency Food Pantry at the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center.
Voting will be done by all participants for (1) Most Creative Chowder; (2) Heartiest Chowder; and (3) Best Use of Regional Ingredients.
