Coastal Mudworks Japanese Tea Bowls Summer and Winter

This 2-hour workshop offers an immersive, hands-on exploration of Japanese tea bowls and culture. Create your own summer and winter tea bowl using the pinch pot method. This approachable hand-building technique emphasizes touch, intention, and the beauty of imperfections-echoing the spirit of the tea ceremony itself. After students make their pieces, the instructor will glaze them with a traditional style celadon or tea dust glaze. Pieces will be ready for pick up 3 weeks post event. Ages 18+. Register online.
