Upon opening the nondescript black metal door of Mystic Dark Room – guests will escape into a cool Metro-loft atmosphere. Up a winding staircase, past the iron and brass gates, the studio space-turned black-box show lounge is ornamented with leather couches, private tables, a larger than life concert style set, and lighting and special effects that would make Studio 54 jealous.

The venue is intimate, and accommodates with all front row seating, allowing all who enter to feel like a VIP. “Grab” has a limited run, weekends in October. Patrons are invited to BYOB, relax and unwind with wine, beer, champagne, or their non-alcoholic beverage of choice. Following the show, the evenings continue with an intriguing social aspect and guests are welcome to take advantage of the dance floor and light show.

It’s a grown-up night out with a cabaret influenced mash-up of opera, classical, and rock and roll music. Its dance artists deliver a theatrical approach with contemporary snap, a bit of an eclectic variety show that’s a pleasure for the eyes and ears.
