DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re looking to tie the knot\, or just spend a night out with your beloved\, Olde Mistick Village is the perfect place to celebrate Valentine’s Day. \nTyler Wiley\, who is also a non-denominational minister\, will once again perform free wedding ceremonies for couples on Valentine’s Day\, Monday\, Feb. 14 at the Meeting House in Olde Mistick Village. She has been performing this special service for almost two decades.Ceremonies will be performed from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Weddings are first come first served. No registration is required. Couples wanting to renew their vows are also welcome. Nothing is necessary for a vow renewal. Commitment ceremonies are also available\, for those who want to simply show up and have fun. \nAll attending will be required to wear a mask before and after the ceremonies. \nCouples are required to present an official wedding license from the Town of Stonington. Licenses may be obtained at the Stonington Town Hall\, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4 p.m. Stonington Town Hall can be reached at (860) 535-5060 and is located at 152 Elm St.\, Stonington. \nAvailable in walking distance from the Meeting House are Go Fish Restaurant\, Pink Basil\, Steak Loft\, Bleu Squid Breakfast & Bakery Cafe\, Mango’s Wood-Fired Pizza Co.\, and Jealous Monk. Across the street are Irons\, Peking Tokyo\, and Rio Salado as well. They have all made it through COVID shutdowns and are fun places to enjoy a celebration.

SUMMARY:Ice in the Village
DESCRIPTION:The wildly popular Ice in the Village event will be taking place once again at Olde Mistick Village from Friday\, January 14th through Sunday\, January 16th. The village will transform into a winter wonderland with ice sculptures on display throughout starting at 5 p.m. on Friday and will also be extending its hours on Friday and Saturday until 8:00 p.m.  \nThe Ice in the Village costume contest will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Children and families can enter throughout the weekend by sharing their costumed photos using the hashtag #IceInTheVillage. Winners for the costume contest will be announced on Sunday night\, with trophy prizes for the top three princesses and pirates generously provided by Make Your Mark Customs. A tasty award will also be given to the top three pooches\, too!  \nWatch a live ice sculpture carving demonstration take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the gazebo. Be sure to also take part in the scavenger hunt throughout the village\, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday\, for a chance to win some exciting prizes! As always\, pets are welcome at Olde Mistick Village\, and we encourage guests to share photos of their experience on social media with the hashtag #IceInTheVillage.

DESCRIPTION:From Friday\, March 5th through Sunday\, March 7th\, Olde Mistick Village is proud to be presenting Ice in the Village\, a weekend of winter themed family fun. 18 ice sculptures\, including two ice carving demonstrations\, photo contests\, and a costume contest are all turning Olde Mistick Village into a winter wonderland. The village will be extending its hours on Friday and Saturday until 8:00 p.m. for this event weekend. \nIce in the Village will include a series of events on Friday and Saturday\, starting with live broadcasts with WBMW on Friday at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday at 11:00 a.m. In addition\, 16 ice sculptures will be set up throughout the village\, with two additional sculptures being added on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. during a live ice sculpture carving demonstration. \nAs part of the festivities Olde Mistick Village will be hosting a Fantastical Frozen Costume Contest. Children and families can enter throughout the weekend by sharing their costumed photos using the hashtag #IceInTheVillage. Winners for the costume contest and the photo contest will be announced at noon on Tuesday\, March 8th\, with trophy prizes for the top three costume contest winners and a $100 gift certificate for the photo contest winner. \nOlde Mistick Village will be holding a scavenger hunt throughout the village during the Ice in the Village weekend. Popular fantasy characters will be hiding throughout Olde Mistick Village shops\, and participants who find them all will be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate. \nFinally\, Mystic Luxury Cinemas will also be providing a free showing of Warner Brother’s Happy Feet on Saturday at 1:50 p.m. Seating is limited in accordance with state protocols and will be available on a first come\, first serve basis.

He will be in the Gazebo on the Village Green for a special egg and hug for two year old’s and younger from 12noon to 1pm. Older children will have a chance to hunt for Easter eggs in the Apple Orchard. \n3 year old’s at 12noon\n4 year old’s at 12:15pm\n5-7 year old’s at 12:30pm\n8-10 year old’s at 12:45pm \nAfter the Easter egg hunts are done\, all children are welcome to meet with Mr. Bunny in the Gazebo on the Village Green.
