SUMMARY:North Stonington Historical Societies “Cabinets of Curiosity” Open House
DESCRIPTION:Visit our Open House exhibit on historic curiosity cabinets\, featuring a display of unusual and intriguing objects featured in past North Stonington Historical Society newsletters. Visitors will have the opportunity to see several pieces of taxidermy along with displays of butterflies\, nests and seed pods. \nThe exhibit will also feature a selection of “curiosities” as well as antique tools from our members’ personal collections\, including a few objects that remain unidentified. Visitors are invited to help solve these mysteries by sharing their own ideas\, as well as bringing in items from home to be identified for a community “show and tell.” \nMore Info
