The program also includes works by Dominick DiOrio\, Ola Gjello\, Michael Horvit\, and Joseph Gentry Stephens. The concert will be inspiring and uplifting. \nThe performance will be conducted by the Chorale’s Artistic Director\, Frank Martingnetti\, and will feature a chamber ensemble and soloists Richard Weidlich\, baritone\, and local favorite Eden Casteel\, soprano. This new work has been performed only once before in Connecticut\, in Middletown. \nThe composer\, Henry Mollicone\, and lyricist\, William Luce\, interviewed homeless people living in homeless shelters. The chorale sings the Latin mass with the soloists weaving in the tapestry of experiences and emotions of the homeless in English. \nMystic River Chorale is celebrating its 35th anniversary and its 11th season under the direction of Dr. Martignetti\, who was a national finalist for the 2015 American Prize in choral conducting for his work the Chorale.
