The Messier Objects is presented by Geoffrey McLean\, a volunteer NASA Solar System Ambassador with access to a wide variety of NASA information. Every Tuesday\, we harvest vegetables and herbs to be donated to the food-insecure of New London County\, and we can’t do it without our volunteers! Giving Garden harvests are always joyful and spirited\, not to mention rewarding: \n– Learn about earth-friendly gardening\n– Help grow food for your community\n– Work alongside and forge new friendships with like-minded volunteers \nCan’t make it on Tuesdays? Volunteer shifts are open 7 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday and on Saturday. Stop by\, bring your friends\, and make it a party! We can always use more help growing delicious\, nutritious food for our neighbors. \nAll produce is donated to the Gemma E.
