Groups or individuals can drop in to take your photos Thursday\, November 5 10:30 AM-7:30 PM; Friday\, November 6 10:30 AM-4:30 PM; or Saturday\, November 7 10:30 AM-2:30 PM. The library provides a holiday-themed backdrop in front of our Victorian-era fireplace. Bring your own phone or camera and staff can assist with your photos. You are welcome to bring your own props; pets are welcome as well. DESCRIPTION:Bill Memorial Presents Bats: Winged Wonders on Saturday\, November 14\, at 1 PM. Maureen Heidtmann\, a licensed wildlife rehabilitator\, will give an overview of bats of the world\, with an emphasis on our local species. She will cover the persisting misconceptions about these fascinating creatures\, the many roles they play to ensure a healthy planet\, the perils they face\, and what we can do to help. First graders to adults are welcome.\nThis program is free\, but attendance is limited and registration is required. She holds a Master Wildlife Conservationist Certificate and a permit from the USDA to keep non-releasable bats for educational purposes.
