DESCRIPTION:The Noank-Mystic Community Band will host the 26th annual Summer Sounds concert series in Mystic River Park\, Cottrell Street\, Mystic on Tuesdays\, from June 13 – August 15\, 2023. Concerts\, which feature a different community music group each week\, will begin at 7PM. \nThese concerts are made possible by Summer Sounds’ major sponsor Charter Oak Federal Credit Union\, with other support from local businesses and civic groups. The Noank-Mystic Community Band is also a proud recipient of a CT Cultural Fund Operating Support grant from CT Humanities with funding from the Connecticut State Department of Economic and Community Development/Connecticut Office of the Arts (COA). CT Humanities is an independent\, nonprofit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. \nAdmission is free.
