SUMMARY:The Y Family (The Y Knots) Saturday Storytime
DESCRIPTION:Join us as The Y Family reads from their book\, The Y Knots! \nRSVP \nAbout the Book \n“We are the Ys!” \nThis delightful family of four is split into two distinct pairs: those who ask “why” and those whose antics generate the question. The younger Ys spend much of their days creating the most amazing adventures at home by using their powers of imagination. With nothing more than the household items surrounding them\, a simple room can be transformed into a seaworthy pirate ship\, a hands-in-the-air rock concert\, or even an underwater exploration. The older Ys struggle to understand the reasoning behind the little Ys’ massive messes\, often creating knots in their plans\, but they soon begin to catch on and play along too. \nThe Y Knots is an imaginatively playful and thought-provoking book filled with silliness\, laughs\, and relatable moments\, and it’s impossible not to love. Eye-catching illustrations and real-life examples pulled from the author’s day-to-day family experiences come together to form a story enveloped with curiosities. When parents are stuck on the “what if” worry\, this lovable tale is here to answer with a “why not\,” which is exactly what you might find yourself saying on your OWN next adventure! \nAbout the Authors \nThe “Y” family lives on a magical country piece of property in Ashford\, Connecticut. They enjoy outdoor adventures with their two Bernedoodle pups\, Finn and Kota\, and are a puzzle and board game enthusiast group of people. They are real-life “Y” characters\, constantly asking why and always teaching one another something new. They face each day by focusing on the positives and surrounding themselves with the people whom they love. They have many Y series stories to tell and cannot wait to share them with the world!
