Second Annual Craft Exchange

Craft Exchange to be held at the Mystic & Noank Library

The Friends of the Mystic & Noank Library will be holding the second Craft Exchange on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon in the Ames Meeting Room. This unique opportunity to recycle unfinished projects as well as try out a new craft venture with no outlay of money will also give crafters a source of free materials for charitable donations, such as hats, mittens and slippers. Donations of all craft ingredients, including knitting supplies, crochet materials, handcraft books, fabric, beads, buttons, children’s art supplies, and the like will be accepted at the Mystic & Noank Library during regular library hours during the week prior to the sale, from September 12 – 16. We ask that your donations be dropped off in sealed plastic bags. This is a great way to clear out your supply closet of projects or materials you no longer want while allowing others to benefit from your largesse. The Craft Exchange will take place for two hours only on Saturday, September 17. You do not need to donate items in order to participate and no money is involved in the exchange. Please bring your own tote bags for carrying your new projects home. In addition, there will be a craft for children in the Children’s Activity Room during the exchange to allow for more relaxed “shopping”.
