  1. Tried the rotisserie chicken served with garlic aioli and old bay macaroni salad on opening day. The chicken was moist and flavorful. I have to remember to ask for an extra crispy bird next time, but that’s just me. The macaroni salad was delightful. It was so light, not the sticky icky stuff you find at the corner market. The little bits of celery and onion crunch in your mouth. Portion a tad small for 5 bucks, but it was the best damn mac salad I’ve ever had. I’ll be going back soon to try a sandwich aaaaand get more of that old bay macaroni.
    Place looks great!

  2. Complete transformation! Wow! My hubby and I tried a salad and a sandwich. They have a beer and wine menu that looks great for next time.

  3. Fantastic atmosphere and cuisine. Our table had Butcher’s Dip, Reuben, Rotisserie Chix and Caesar Salad – all were divine. Another great addition for Mystic!

  4. My grandson, in the midst of picking apart a rotisserie chicken, exclaimed: “Messy is best” as he licked the tasty juices off his fingers and, despite his grandmothers’ protests, also wiped them from his face with the back of his sleeve. Grass and Bone is an experience in just plain good eating. The rotisserie chicken is superb. The English language is too limited to describe the stomach-filling sandwiches–Pesto Chicken, Rueben with all the fixings, Carved Roast beef on focaccia bread. And don’t pass on the corn bread. Add to this experience a great assortment of beer (Try Hobbit’s Brew) and selection of wines by the glass or carafe (Gruner Veltliner pairs wonderfully with the rotisserie chicken). Bring friends, family, neighbors. Walk up to the counter. Order your food. Pick a table. Roll up your sleeves. Enjoy an evening of just great eating
